A point-of-sale (or point-of-lease) price reduction applied by an enrolled participating retailer on a new battery-electric medium- or heavy-duty commercial vehicle. Administered by Southern California Edison on behalf of the state's participating electric distribution utilities and funded by their Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) holdback credit revenue, not ratepayer dollars.
